If you have been driving around my neck of the woods lately, you probably have seen the car with the cleanest windshield ever. It is very easy to spot as the windshield washer is splashing fluid all over the road as it drives along. That's me!The reason is that my windshield washer thingy has been freezing up [now that I am parking outside?]. So over the holidays there was no liquid coming out of the front washers but the rear was okay. Eventually it thawed. Everything was okay. And then it froze again, back and front. I had been using the blue fluid [doesn't everyone?] but that is no good said my mechanically inclined friends. So I bought some orange fluid which is supposed to be so much better. In order to put the orange into where the blue was originally, I had to squirt and squirt while driving [the washer thingy, don't get funny]. But after that also froze I now have the other color, the true color, the right color; except that now I forgot what color it is. But it is much more expensive. The blue only goes down to 25 degrees below zero, the orange to 30 degrees below and the new stuff can take care of the North Pole [where I do not live, really!].
If the thingy is frozen again today, I am moving permanently to Hawaii or Florida or the South Pacific. Or maybe I will buy a new car with a thingy guarantee.
